This is my redesign of this famous stacked bar chart published on The Lancet. The data is exactly the same: for each drug I separated the values of the measurements (the stacked bars) and, comparing to the other drugs, I created a matrix. All matrices together make a small multiples of heatmaps. Hover over the labels to get the description of the drug (rows) and the criteria (columns) in the comparison, and over each box to get a precise description. The boxes are coloured using a colour-blind safe Brewer palette: the greener the box the less harm the drug does, the purpler the box the more harm it does (compared to the other drug).
Data kindly provided by Dr. David Nutt, the author of the original paper.
